After arriving there I changed my clothes.When I casually went outside, something in the sky appeared in silencein the corner of my eye, something like a parachute was dropped from a B-29.It was at that time when I entered the hut to tell my friends "Hey,something strange is falling down." The hut which had no windows and wasdusky and boarded inside was suddenly turned yellow by a severe flash oflight.I blocked my eyes and ears with my hands immediately and prostratedmyself on the floor. Then I heard a crash this time. A moment later, I crawledoutside and saw that something with red and yellow flames and black andwhite smoke began to go up like the eruption of a volcano.From the direction of the crashing sounds, I thought that theammunition chamber of the armory had definitely exploded. Therefore, Iflew outside, but it was the same as always.On the other hand, cannons and some other things were flung againstthe edge of the warehouse and had been blown sideways. Right in front of thearmory, there was a person who was at a loss with dozens of pieces of theglass piercing into his body.We were not able to find our friend who had gone to the armory as wehad wanted to ask him what had happened. We saw an officer whose facehad become bloody and I asked him "What should we do from now on?"Then he answered "Do as you like!"What’s more, I asked him "Won’t you scold us, even if we run away?"Then he answered “It is no use scolding you, look at this situation, it isalready finished.”I went to the rooming house which was in front of a clothing depotbehind Mt. Hiji. The second floor where my room was had collapsed, and thedamage put it in a state of partial destruction. I saw my aunt with bloodcoming from her head and she was stunned. Her 2 or 3 year-old nephew wasblown away and had disappeared. He remained missing after that.My room was in a mess, the smashed windowpane was everywhere and
